Sign up with photobucket…no probs

do you own shares there ? It sure is a bypass to the resident photo-upload tool here, and a great solution for boards that do not provide such a possibility.

But we still want to see it working again.

Webbie: no sweat – we know you’re doing your best and really appreciate it !

Or host your own. Most ISPs offer some webspace along with your access account.

Sign up with photobucket, that way you can post up your photo with out hastle on any message board without having to up load it more than once.

Its a free service, simple to follow too, once the photo is on photobucket click on it so it gets blown up to size,
right click mouse button,
scroll down to properties and click on it,
high light url and copy it,
come back here click in insert image and past url in the box…
Job done.

Just checked to see if it worked. No luck. Claimed the image was an invalid file type. The photo had worked before

I’m getting ‘invalid file type’ even though its a jpeg!

‘I’ve just noticed that in the ‘Manage attachments’ window, where it says valid file extensions’ none are listed where usually it says ‘jpeg’ etc. The same goes for the ‘reply to thread’ page in the ‘Attach files’ box.

In other words, all image files types are ‘invalid’ at the moment.

I’ve not been able to upload photos since the first website upgrade last year, don’t ask me why. Pity really as I have a few I’d like to share with our readers.

As Robbo said – Old Fart’s photo is hosted on photobucket and not on Key’s server – therefore it is also visible in the thread scrolling when on reply modus….. works like a link (activated).

I can see the photo of the Vulcan without problems! But strange, when I get the reply page and scroll down to look at topic review, the photo is still visible. I have never had that happen before. Just the text. Tried to upload a photo but got an error message!
