We’ve had 3/4 scale Spits, and we’ve had 80% Spits, but if you care to check out http://www.spitfireaircraftco.com – you could buy a kit of a full-sized replica.
Work is currently progressing well on a prototype, and the builders plan to install a V-1710 Allison engine(!), with options for a Merlin, too!!!
Not sure if the price will sway me to buying one, however…!

Good grief! At that price ($320,000 for the kit alone, minus engine) it would be better to find two other like minded people and buy the real thing!
