Hi all, we need a small piece (2 ft by 2 ft would do) 2024 T O sheet, .100 thou thick. Does anyone here have an offcut we could obtain? I’ve only found one sheet over here, 12 ft by 10 ft and megga huge £££££££££££. Given that this is the only piece of .100 thou on the entire aeroplane I’m hoping to find an offcut rather than buy a full sheet that we’ll never use in a hundred years.
Many thanks,
G

Plenty of thin stuff with docs. Nothing anywhere near that thick though!

in a word probably yes down at brunty as long as you don’t need it with a C of C and batch number, i obtained a load of structures bay scrap pieces from work and as it’s quite a common one it should be amongst them if you PM us i’ll let you have my phone number and then if you give us a bell on Saturday i’m at bruntingthorpe and i’ll look in the supplies for you
As long as you can collect your welcome to it, and you’ll just owe us a favour whats it for by the way

Give these guys a call, they will have some BUT they are NOT an approved aircraft supplier if it is for an airworthy beast. The metal is cheap and they may have off cuts.
