The German Giants, The German R-Planes 1914=1918 by G. W. Haddow; Peter M. Grosz
I recall reading what I think is this book while in school many years ago. I’ve found a few online but before I spend too much money on it I want to make sure it’s the same book I recall.
The book I’m after discusses not only the aircraft but the German bomber offensive against the UK.
Does this book do that or am I barking up the wrong tree? I seem to recall a chapter called “The Coming of the wog-wogs” (a nickname of the bombers) or something similar.
If this is not the book does anyone know of a similar book published in the late 1960s?

The German Giants although not the book you’re remembering is well worth buying if the German R planes are of interest.
My copy – 2nd edition bought c.1970 – is printed on glossy paper which results in excellent reproductions of pics and line drawings. At 310 pages (inc. index) I’d happily pay around £40 plus for a copy in good condition if i hadn’t already got one.
