It looks sort-of like the one that’s currently based in New Zealand – ZK-WFI

I’ve found a bit more about this aircraft: http://www.nzwarbirds.org.nz/108a.html#4
There’s a cockpit shot, but not much of it is revealed.
I didn’t know there were so many Bf108s (and, I suppose, Nord 1002s) still flying! That is, if the text on that page is correct…!

This aircraft has been very heavily modified. I believe it has a 300hp Lycoming and the cut down canopy means it now only has two seats, one behind the other.
🙂
Only two seats?! 😮
This is the closest I can find to a cockpit shot

I believe the aircraft was oringinally modified in the USA, spent a brief period in South Africa before ending up in New Zealand.
I’m sure the motivation for this was film work but I can’t be specific for which movie. Must go well with 300hp…

I like it because it’s unusual – seems as though the owners, at some point or other, decided to get shot of the usual canopy arrangement and remodel it to look like a Bf109.
This is the one with the butane guns on the snout, is it not?

Authentic or not – it’s a good lookin’ plane. Perhaps’s it’s “authentic” to Von Ryan’s Express? 😉

Hope not – looks like someone’s been sick all over it! 😮

That’s what I thought! Please tell me that colour scheme (in the first photo) wasn’t meant to be authentic?! 😮
