Hi.
Earlier this year I aquired the Auster frame G-AJPZ off Adrian at Bruntingthorpe, with the idea to start the restoration to airworthy and then sell it to help fund the DH88 Comet project. sadly I havent had time to do anything with it so have decided to see if anyone is interested in taking it on.
The frame at one time had a couple of extra tubes fitted to make it look like a mk6 when it was with the museum down Bournemouth, but these have been removed, the frame only needs a few tubes replacing to bring it up to airworthy or just cleaned and painted if its a static project. A different cockpit fest project perhaps?
Is anyone interested, I will swap it for a couple of sheets of 3mm plywood I need for the Comet. I will include copies of the J1 manual and Auster repair manual which I have put on CD.
Any takers?
