That’s quite early to start a party at twenty to eight, isn’t it?

Think it actually kicks off ten mins before that, I suppose I meant a 1940’s hanger bash.

Well, if it is not:
The Eaglescott Air Race,
The Cromer Seafood Fly In
The Stoke Gliding Steakout
The Devon Strut Fly In, or
The Old Sarum Summer Holiday Fly In …

… then I guess it is a private party to which us troglodites are not invited! 🙁

I guess, if the great chequered-nosed horse was going to be there, it would have been recorded in the diary at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mustangjanie/

Nope none of the above and the chequered-nosed horse will be there, probably in the company of her playmate and other friends. Everyone is invited however they will need to buy tickets and there is no way my picnic will stretch that far, or the wine come to that, I’ll have to prize that away from Mrs Yak11Fan and her friends first 😀

You mean there is another Shuttleworth evening event that I can’t make it to??????????

What fabulous event in your diary could possibly conflict with that? Go on, make us jealous.

Sorry, old boy, I’m going to be busy for the next few weeks. I’ll be reading the forum, but not writing.

I changed my mind, in case anyone thought I was lying.

Hello!

The Orlik TC-II prototype (equipped with PT-6A-25C engine) made first flight at 8th October 2003.
Some pictures for you.

Just to educate you,

THIS is an Orlik: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/446836/M/

It is a nice looking plane, but the original ones were flawed by an unreliable Walter engine.

Plans were made to re-engine it with a PT6 turbine, but I don’t know if that was done or not.

What’s a duster??!! Perhaps Janie could let me know!!!!

A duster is what a number of Stearmen and the like were converted into mainly in America some years ago and were used to do some crop dusting!!

Just keep getting an irritating recording of a woman saying

“The number you have dialled has not been recognised”

Reckon she must have moved.

The easiest way to get a ride in any aircraft is to offer the pilot a ride in your own aircraft! (And people wonder what to do with a PPL! )

You’ll find me at Little Gransden, Elstree, North Weald and Duxford this weekend; Flying Legends 9-11 July; hopefully Shuttleworth Evening on 17 Jul then I’ll be in a sanitorium for a few days whilst they try to extract the pun gene from me.

A duster? That is for cleaning canopies, of course!
