Hi all,
I just bought these bits , and wondered if any of you remember recovering them, or seeing them on a display board at some time in the past??
one piece is a part of the control coloumn sleeve ,
and the other is a data plate .
there nice messershmitt 109 bits, but with no history ??. but i believe uk dug.. many moons ago..
does anyone know where they originally came from, and any idea where the data plate would be situated on the 109 ??
many thanks
Chris

As others have said its from the brake cylinder behind each rudder pedal, could have come out of many different aircraft types, interesting to see you got the leather gaiter too!

Hello Chris, the guy selling them had a lot of stuff from the Netherlands, so probably not from the UK.
