Now that the 20D is hitting the aviation photography community, there seem to be some excellent results coming out. At first there were several glitches with the new camera, but I think shots like this will be enough to persuade most people… http://www.airliners.net/open.file/700991/L/

Will be the owner of a new Canon 300D (Black) by this saturday! 😀 With a Sigma 50-500mm lense ( but with the digital enhancement it will be 120-760mm lense! 😮 or something like that)
First results hopefully coming saturday then. 😀

Im going to make yet another big investment tomorrow – by buying a 300d canon camera with a 50-500mm Sigma lense. From results ive seen on the net – these two are a great combo. Ive been waiting a very long time to get a DSLR and hopefully tomorrow the wait will be over.

The B777 shot is more about distance for the lens than anything else!!!
BTW – that Sigma 500 does look nice eh ? Very tempting!!!
