Anyone want to meet at Hendon Saturday (6th)?

I’m planning to visit the RAF Museum Hendon this Saturday (6th). If anyone wants to meet up let me know.

Anna….?

Geoff. 😎

And how would anyone tell?

Less muttering and flashes of torches in the corners?

I’ve phoned Hendon to say we wont be able to perform the display of Morris Dancing in the car park after all. They ‘sounded’ disappointed, but I’m sure I heard a few cheers in the background.

This wasn’t meant to be a ‘Forum meet’ as such, it’s just that since I’m going on Saturday anyway I thought I’d mention it on here. I didn’t want to post any photos on here Saturday evening, only to have someone say ‘I was there too’ or ‘Why didn’t you say you were going, I would have come too.’ Also from previous experience at Hendon & Duxford, it’s always much more enjoyable going around any museum with a group of like-minded friends.

What about a meet at Brooklands sometime in late November/early December? I’ve long wanted to go there, it’s one museum I can get to fairly easily by train (along with Hendon), and a meet would be the incentive to actually make the trip. What say you?

Anyway, no hard feelings over the no-shows. :p

Sorry Geoff
I’ve got a non aviation related weekend that’s been pre-arranged by Mrs AIB.
Yes, you’ve guessed it, we’re seeing ‘normal people’ this weekend. 🙂 😉 🙂

Sorry mate, another no-show here. I’ve been told I have to go to former USAAF Podington (can’t quite bring myself to call it “Santa Pod”…) to watch four-wheeled jet engines. Kinda like Bruntingthorpe, but with less soul, less wings, and much colder! 😉

Geoff,

Apologies – I’m going to let you down as well !

I’d be up for it later in November, if you can re-schedule your visit.

Best wishes,

Andrew

I would love to Billy, but alas I value my testicles and must therefore stay at home and help Mrs Snapper.

Damn it Steve…I was banking on at least your good self turning up.

I’ll just have to hope for a late rush, otherwise it’ll make the ‘group photo’ interesting!
