You live in Farnham……I passed thru Farnham last December, didn’t see many overdressed lights on houses. Good area = sensible lights, or is that just a pattern I notice in every town?
Merry Xmas.
(Pending comments on the use of the X!!!)
🙂
Well this will be the first Christmas I’ve spent living in Farnham, I was living in Guildford down the road this time last year but either way I can’t say I’ve noticed any overdressed houses in either town.
Although saying that I dropped a friend of mine off at his house earlier and he said that he was about to do the outside lights decorating thing :diablo:.
Although this is all irrelevent as I drive back to Birmingham (hometown) for Xmas anyway :dev2::D.

Enthusiasm has nothing to do with it. They are just trying to out-do each other in a total non Christmas way. Don’t often see a flashing Jesus or a neon Mary!
Not that I can talk, the Bible is a book of tales, similar to bar talk.

Do you always demean people who just enjoy celebrating Christmas with a little more enthusiasm than most?
I work for npower and its great having to put up with all the crap from some members of the public when they get there 1st bill after christmas. They ring up say some crap like “how dare you send me a bill for £200,i dont have that many electrical appliances in my home it just me, my wife and 1 child”. Like ****e mate you just put a strain on the national grid with all your trees and light and you have a bigger carbon footprint that bigfoot for christs sake.
