Hi guys, just a quick question.
Can anyone remind me of a plastic spitfire in Polish squadron colours that was at a small museum at Appledram, sussex. I recall it from the 80’s. What happend to it?
Cheers

Anyone know the fate of this plastic model, I was at the auction and couldn’t believe the price it went for, mind you I couldn’t believe the price many of the items went for that day

To tell you the truth REF, it was nearly 30 years ago, and my memory isn’t what it used to be, so I cant say one way or another.:(

This photo was taken in 1998 at Shoreham, I’d like to know what happened to it as well

The museum operators were Barry Field and Ken Rimmel. They moved the operation to Shoreham, although their museum finally closed and was sold off a few years ago.

It was ex-“Piece of Cake” as I remember.
It went to the Shoreham D-Day Aviation Museum and was sold at auction when that museum closed.
