OK guys heres a few parts found in the field on my travels last week. Any ideas as to what they are and are from? Interestingly the small fairing strip is painted in two tone blue?
ok here are the pics.
1 access panel with hole in it notice the hinge remains and pattern of fasteners?
2 rear face of panel with remaining silver paint stamped number 61603 P8?
3 green panel cover from junction box or part number 643 4 M?
4 inside of panel cover notice bakelite remains?
5 small bracket or mount number stamped 646015? and smaller number 64605A
6 inside of mount..
7 misc panel notcie the countersunk holes on the larger piece
8 there was 4 of these panels in the field notice the two tone blue paint?
9 part number Lot 70 0135732?
10 this panel is fairly heavy and seems to be all in one? I tried to unfold some of the edges but it is all riveted together?
11 Has the following number in a couple of places
12 Lastly this is a piece of wing tank panel from lancaster aircraft I believe it is from the outboard tanks

yes, Avro 683=Lancaster

I dont think it would be as clear cut as that would it? I know the designation was Avro 683? Interestingly there were also B25s and ansons scrapped at that location. With the two tone paint on some parts that I found I was wondering if venturas were also disposed of there but did the rcaf have two tone blue venturas in their inventory?

Think it,s a case of going through piles of photo,s,manuals,drawings etc trying to figure out what they are.Now whats under “A” for Avro……….
