After a bet/chat/jibe at Damien, we wanted to see how good mobile cameras really are.
I think it depends how visable you are to the pilot as a good marker for the end of the runway. 🙂

Yep Sunday but Saturday there were a few low ones, to be honest though when we looked down the airfield we were pretty much in line with the grass runway (I had forgotten they had moved it over). So the pilots had lined up correctly it was just we are not used to seeing them over there.
No its a pink cap 🙂

You need a good zoom for the Utt Butts 🙂
I guessed, but it’ll go well in my collection with the one of two blobs of smoke I took last year!

well, I did have a go yesterday at taking a piccy of the Utterly Butterlys in action with a 1950s folding camera so you never know, we might see that here yet!
Would have tried with the Box Brownie, but I don’t have a “Sports finder”…

(sadly, all this is true!)

We had a bet at the Red Lion that I could get a better picture with my mobile than he could 😀
All a bit of fun… just as well I didn’t strip, I was getting ready for Man on the Fence to streak. 🙂
It seems I lost the bet anyway

If people didn’t jump the fence then I wouldn’t have to be in that position.
Anyway it isn’t as bad as it looks he was over to one side of us. 🙂

Sod how good the camera is – how good is your laundry if that engine coughs?
