My guess is that the Predator 3 would give 80% of the capability at 20% of the cost. Reason: N-UCAS being developed by Pentagon (see C-17, F-22, V-22, and KC-X for textbook examples of program mis-management and billions of dollars in over-runs, delays, etc.), whereas General Atomics develops the airplanes on their own and then sells them.
And you have to wonder if General Atomics isn’t firing a shot over the bow by naming the Predator 3 “Avenger.”
