I asked for help on woodenprops re a blade of very similar profile (but apparently a fair bit longer than yours) – they suggested it was from a scout, perhaps a BE.2 – it seems to match the photos I can find of BE.2 props. But as I say, yours looks more…stumpy than mine. But as it’s a similar profile and has the same green tip and green paint on the root as yours, this might help you narrow down what yours could be.
A definitive answer is going to be nigh on impossible as folk have said – you typically need the hub for that.

It is wrong shape for Vimy and far more likely to be Pup or similar.

Certainly looks right for Sopwith Pup, Avro 504 era. But as already said need some info off the missing hub really.

It could be anything really, but it certainly looks early design. Maybe 1930’s. Vickers Vimy comes too my head for some reason but who knows.
Like Melv said, we need info that would be on the hub of the prob.
Sorry, can’t be any more help than that…….

Certainly looks right but with the hub missing it is hard to work out exactly what it is from. Drawing numbers, which can be cross-referenced with the aircraft type, and sometimes engine type and power are stamped on the hubs. There appears to be no makers name but 48 in would make it almost nine feet in diameter in total. Could be Sopwith Pup or a number of things.
Need any identification marks really.
