Are those X-Factor judges blind?!

I’m sorry but Laura was the only one on their who I seen with perfect vocal use and brilliant potential, she is better than loads of them on there and I am furious that Daniel is in and he’s only in becuase a sympathy vote – he is cr*p! 😡 – Loads of them are not as good as Laura, the only ones left with talent that will be great in the public are Alexandra, Diana and JLS.

Despite my large amount of very serious experience in music as a sound engineer and musician, I’ve never actually heard a definition of ‘perfect vocal use’. Please give me one! 🙂

Paul

P.S. That wasn’t meant in a nasty way, I’m just very cynical! 😀

When someone goes a whole song without going flat from their key.

Cripes 😮

have I just been moderated.

Always a first for everything.

oops very sorry your moderatorship.

Just exercising my right to free thought. Said what I think now and am leaving it at that.

Perhaps it was that I had just watched the Festival of Rememberance and that the X factor really gets my goat making stars of the ordinary when out there are real people risking their lives and losing. Leaving families behind to pick up the pieces and this sort of drivel is all we can talk about.

Sorry if it seems like I was chastising my fellow forumite but it really was just the subject matter and not the person.

What realy got me about the rememberance this year was the personal accounts from the veterans and their families. In particular the young lady and her mother that lost their brother / son. The way he arranged an American trip for his mother with him before he deployed. Almost as if he was saying goodbye then. Very touching.

Ok rant over now I am off to annoy more people on an entirely different site.

Yeah, singing through the ears is annoying. I have to use two microphones instead of one.

It reduces the need for backing singers, though.

Hmmm…. not singing through the ears, perhaps?

As a side note heslop I didn’t think Loui had much choice. The public are to blame for putting those 2 in the bottom in the first place, whether this was because they have their favourites or whether they are not voting for the best singers because they think “ahh they’ll be safe anyway” we’ll never know.
But if you take the 2 songs in the sing off Ruth’s was far far better in my opinion. (& she’s bloody hot :D)

Daniel isn’t “crap” at all, he’s very very good, but he’s one of the weaker ones left in the competition.
