The Afghan A300 skidded off the runway at Istanbul on the 23rd March 2007, fortunately no fatalities. I came across it on the 28th March 2007 and it appears to have had its tail cut off from the rest of the aircraft body (I presume the height of tail was a hazard so near the runway threshold). This aircraft can now no doubt be considered a complete right off.

RE: Ariana To Frankfurt And Istanbul
Ariana is currently operating a B727 bought from AA. Air India pilots will train Afghani pilots on the A300 and make them familiar with the routes.
