Armed Forces Housing a Disgrace ?

Take the title of this thread as a generalisation, because it no doubt could apply thoughout the armed forces but I hope that the report shown on this evenings news on the condition of some of the housing at BRIZE is not typical.

I still find it totally unacceptable that the GOVERMENT sell off good housing when there is a requirement locally for its continued owner ship by OUR SERVICES—- example in question being RAF Little Rissington not far from BRIZE, and available when given up by the USAF who unless I’m wrong used it to house staff based at Fairford.
