I have been trying to find the weight of a Cheetah X with all the ancillaries bar the carb. I have found a weight of 800lb for the Mk.XV and 720lb for the Malta Aviation Museum’s Cheetah X but I don’t know how complete that engine is.
The reason is a collegue has one and is going to get a stand but wants to know what rating the stand should have.

The AP gives the net dry weight as 720 lb
The AS manual for the Cheetah IX gives 635 lbs bare and dry. 14.5 lbs for airscrew hub. 689 lbs complete with hand/electric starter, Motor, coil, airscrew hub, hucks claw fuel pumps and generator drive.
