Thanks for the offer but i have a number without the top sights so another would not help. I need the arm to mount it on which goes across the astrodome. There is one on show in Newarks as an example but i have not got a close up photo of it.

Hi Varsity Have you any need for this item we suspected there was a sight missing from the top it is available I am making nothing from this just want to see it going to the right home

I have been after the mounting frame for a Varsity Astro Compass for 35 years now if anyone knows where to get one from. Ours has had the top removed also and destroyed sadly due to Radiation.

Bad news: you have some bits missing at the top (there should be an extra gunsight-type bit through which you line up the stars and an adjusting knob)
Good news: you have also got the standard at the bottom
