Gone are the days of my posts of a decent a/c using only a cheapo throw-away camera and the end result of being a smudged a/c which no-one could tell the type of.
I have invested a few bob on a CP-7m SLR with an extra Miranda 75-300mm zoom lens.
I have been out and about with it trying it out, but I will use it properly at RAF Fairford this weekend.
A330– Have you your 747 ticket yet? and if so do you know where you will be sitting, or is it first come / first serve?

I will try my best, just depends on how much money I spend on all the crap that I buy, and also the amount of burgers I eat!
I will get to there at about 4am, that way I will be within the first 50 on site. I can then run around getting all the photos I want without all the fuss and elbows. Come 10am and I am sat in the enclosure, resting and looking forward to the whole show.
I have always borrowed a decent camera in past years, so Im really excited bout this one

No Andy im not flying there…that sounds posh…..:) If you were there on the Saturday I would of tried to take a photo of the general area you were sat.
I got 2 free tickets this year, but Im going on the Saturday, although I am truely tempted to go on the Sunday aswell

Dave yep got them ages ago. BA 9111 departure at 8:30 this sunday 20th July. Returning as BA 9112 at 7:00.
The earlier you get there the better seat you get… its on that sort of first come first serve basis.
Apparently I am to be on G-BNLM.
Why do you ask? Are you on the flight as well?
