ATA were last seen at GLA last year doing troop movements to the Gulf region. They have of course also been witnessed at EDI and PIK in recent years…

And RAF Mildenhall last year.

Well it certainly would be nice to see this in the UK, good luck to ATA. I watched a documentary recently on Discovery which featured their CEO or suchlike person waxing lyrical about aviation as a concept rarther than just a business. He seemed particularly fond of the Tristars as I remember?

Nothing has been finalized. If we survive the winter, my guess is that we will serve one airport in Germany (Cologne, possibly Berlin SXF) and a couple in Britain (MAN and GLA are my best guess). We will use 757-200’s from a city on the East Coast – rangewise I don’t think other than EWR, BOS, JFK and BWI can cut it. Neither have considerable (if any) ATA presence, so the amount of point-to-point traffic will have to be high. I beleive JFK would be most suitable for that.

But, as already said, we will have to survive the winter first. At the moment it doesn’t look too good …

ATA are presently operating a busy schedule with Tristar 500s via MHZ on military charters.

Pablo you are right about CGN, read about that. I don’t think they have given out any hints regarding others yet. So don’t know where they are coming from. Care to elaborate? 🙂

That would be good if they started trans atlantic ops again! When/why did they stop?
