Been a little less busy at Southend across the last few weeks or so – yet still a few bits of interest (at least to me). Unfortunately the weather has been far more mixed.
First – Blue Islands have been in again for maintenance. A firm favourite of mine!

An unusual Aer Lingus Regional ATR operating in place of the scheduled ATR42:

N92SR is back for more (maintenance) at Southend, caught in a lucky burst of sunshine on stand, with some dark shower clouds behind. Seriously smart!

Meanwhile, special Willy Brandt easyJet A319 has been based – arriving from Amsterdam as the nights are fast drawing in:

Another new Volotea at the end of Runway 06:

And the main event – the Yakutia Cargo 757 departing back to Moscow after a short maintenance visit. Unfortunately the foretasted solid sunshine did not materialise! This one is for Culpano!!!

As always – I hope these are of interest!

Ha ha thanks Aeropics. Just back from Moscow and didn’t see it 😡 Great movement.
Thanks Culpano and a shame you didn’t catch her in Moscow. Agreed – a very good movement even for Southend. Yakutia have visited a few times – but they tend usually to move when it is dark -so a nice change for once!
