Reported on the BBC News website today is a story regarding an auction today that includes some original German reconnaissance photographs of the dams targeted by Operation Chastise, taken before and after the raid. The pictures are part of an auction starting at 1300hrs today at International Autograph Auctions Ltd, Nottingham – here’s a link to their web page for the auction that advertises an ‘Autograph auction featuring autographs of the Dambusters from the collection of a Warwickshire gentleman’ –

617 Squadron and The Dambusters Lots are 186-231, there are other Aviation Lots 161-172, World War II Lots 173-185, Military and Naval Leaders Lots 156-160.
