Yesterday marked the end of 45 years of service for the Royal Australian Defence Forces UH-1H fleet with a 3 ship flypast over the Enoggera Barracks.I saw them go over work in Toowoomba at 15:10 but didn,t have my camera with me.A sad day as it was pretty much a way of life in the area to hear the whocka, whocka regularly.Hopefully I can find some pics to put up for you guys.:( I think the remaining Hueys will go into museums around Auss as there is one at the Oakey museum already and one still in storage.Plus the last three that flew yesterday.

A friend of mine who lives in Apollo Bay saw two army Huey’s flying over his house today in an easterly direction. Can anyone shed some light as to why they are still flying?
Thanks Paul
