Aussie museum story – what not you think

I must admit, I’d like to see the Victoria Government throw even just a small potion of the Millions of Arty Farty, Dippy Doo dah cultcha things dollars that maybe 5% of the population are interested in towards Moorabbin. Even if there was no all encompassing museum there is a fair amount of vacant land just around the extant buildings that they could arrange for and pay for some expansion buildings. Having done a working bee there on the DC-3, a proper maintenance and restoration building, plus at least one more display hanger would be amazing for them.

Leave it alone if you did half as much as people mentioned, you would be well respected, in the aviation world, the guys down at Moorabbin do a fine job on limited means and Mark and others are very well respected in the conservation community who try endlessly “hands on” to further the preservation of Australian history.. Its been long known Moorabbin needs the resources to get the collection under cover and have been trying too for over 25 years under different museum management and State and Federal governments .

A combining of Victorian State Preserved Aviation Assist’s under one roof would be good thing if managed and implemented well.

I believe the news story issue is discussed on several facebook pages as well? So some debate has been generated….

I think you need to explain to us over here what the news article actually means,i certainly don’t understand the in’s and out’s of it.
