Hello,
Does anyone know of any ‘interesting’ colour schemes that were applied to Austers within the RAF/Army apart from the standard schemes? I’m thinking of painting an Auster, but want something different (any mark of Auster is fine).
Photos appreciated!!

There was one in an MOD (PE) scheme of grey with blue cheat lines – might have been an AOP9

There’s a few pictures HERE that might help. I haven’t had time to look properly.

Thanks for your input so far. Does anyone have any photos of Austers in an ‘interesting’ British military colour scheme?

I quite like SEAC markings, and there was an RAAF one with shark’s teeth…

It might be worth asking the Auster Club Heritage Group (link HERE) or Leicestershire Museums Service, who hold the Auster archives.
