G’day all
Anyone have a PDF of the pilot’s notes for a Auster J5B. Also if any has any for a J5 that would also be good.
I only have 4th hand photocopies and they are a bit shot. I own Austers VH-BGU and VH-KSK. Last flew ‘BGU yesterday, loved it. very very hot day 43 degrees C in my hangar – floated a lot but did some pretty good landings.
My poor Tiger sat in the hangar (should have given it a run as well but was lazy!) Too much work to drag it out of the hangar in the heat.
To anyone in Australia affected by the Bush Fires, such sad and distressing news.

Aaah, gotta love the Auster! Great photo:).
Hope our Aussie counterparts are surviving the fires and heatwaves.
If any Austers are endangered by the fires or heat over there, just pop them on a boat and send them over the ditch here to NZ and we will look after them!!
