Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone might be able to assist me with some Auster information. I’m interesting in finding out if Auster Mk.III, NJ797 (with construction number believed to be 635) had any RAF service before being delivered to the RAAF. If so, any ideas what this service might have been?
Also interested in the history of an Auster Mk. V. Don’t know any possible RAF serial number, but the construction number is believed to be 1916 (although TAY983D has also been quoted).
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt

It might be worth asking the Auster Club Heritage Group (link HERE) or Leicestershire Museums Service, who hold the Auster archives.
