Who says the airshow season is over?
Well it’s not over my house.
In the space of an hour while out with the kids on their bikes we have had a Yak50/52 aerobating, a blue and white Jet Provost weaving about, two Yaks in formation and two Mustangs in formation, which I assume where Janie and the Doll, little two far to be certain.

Never had the luxury of a tow bar is only the flash boys next door with their Spits, we just have to pick it up and push.
Maybe there is a design floor in bars that we could exploit, it would take alot of research and many many hours of holding one up at many establishments of the beer serving kind, in order to see what the problems were though… who is with me.
Any help cleaning oil of the tigers is appreciated…. and we are always hungry too… keep the C of G right you see

Tow bars….Very dangerous things, especially if you drop them on your toe…
or if you start the engine with one still attached to the from of the plane… more expensive than painful though…..

Yeah, what was she up to? She landed, backtracked, took off again, did a circuit, landed and sloped off round the back to the safety of her hangar… Would have been nice to see her taxy along the front really, especially as I’ve not really seen her properly before… Ah well. So, At6pilot2b, were you the one in the beige/green-ish coloured P-51 Mustang jacket?
Peter, who owns her, always flies a circuit when he gets back from somewhere, (he went west so place, lol) and then he taxed back to his hangar, as he didn’t knwo the other mustangs were coming in.
And yes, that was my in my green mustang jacket 😀

You lot are so bloody lucky! I’m out in the sticks here in Midlothian, no historics nearby except those at East Fortune, 45 minutes drive away (at least – and I don’t drive!), and no airfield except the aforementioned and Edinburgh Airport!! 🙁
Damn my mother for bringing me up here when I was four days old!! 😡 Mind you, I did get to throw up on her on the way – no bars needed! 😉

No oil or grease is allowed on the external surfaces of that aircraft 😀 Not for long anyway.
