Does anyone know the current location of AV8Air’s B757 GOAVB?.

G-OAVB only flies once a week to keep her in service and out of short term storage. I believe this is a training flight which is less than 1 hour in duration and basically just gives her a run out.

I think what is happening is that the B767 is operating under the Icelandic AOC. AV8Air have applied for their own AOC covering both the B757 and B767, and hope to commence ops under their own banner by May 04. In the meantime, the B757 only flies training flights as and when, but I suspect it will remain parked for a few weeks yet.

Saw it MAN last Friday parked next to G-BOAC 🙂
Seems to be doing very little…. the 767 arrived on a flight which was supposed to be operated by the 757. Strange as the 757 was sat there doing absolutely nothing.
