Avatars! Good or bad?

Do you like other peoples avatars?
(For the uninformed they are the pictures that appear below the users name.)
And why have you chosen what you chose to identify yourself?

I think mine is fairly self explanatory – but for those of you who don’t drive it is the warning sign in Britain for a road or footpath being awash with fluid… For those of you who can’t read English…work it out yourself!;)
