Aviation Art – Broken WWII Airfield Window

Some time ago there was a thread which detailed a painting showing a broken WWII tower window. Where the glass remained, WWII scenes could be seen. Where the glass was missing – the modern day could be seen.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this picture?

UPDATE: Ok, technology 1, me nil. I found it. It was painted by a chap called Fred Groves which answers one question – now where can I get a copy!?

Thanks,

Roy.

You lucky sod!

That, for me at least, is one of the most evocative pictures I’ve seen in years.

You’ll have to scroll down a bit for photo’s of the picture.

Really amazing – I do hope a print is available.

Cheers,

Roy.
