Aviation Books that would make good films?

I have been reading Geoffrey Wellum’s book “First Light” and what a cracking read it is, and that coming from someone who rearly reads a book! I urge anyone who has not read it to do so. As i was reading the other night my though went to what a great film this would make, i was wondering what Aviation related books other people had read that would make good films?

A fair bit of Yeager’s career has been covered in the excellent film The Right Stuff, but yes, his wartime career could be interesting too.

There are many true books that would make great films, and they don’t have to be big names like Yeager either I guess. It’s just a pity most films that are made are fictional and have little bearing on the real events.

I completely agree with u! The way he talks about his career makes u feel part of it.. the vivid details about flight ops, the feelings… superb book, highly reccomended!
They already made a movie out of “Piece of cake”, how about a movie inspired to Chuck Yeager? His life and career were amazing too!
