Does anyone know what aviation-themed movies are currently available on DVD, or coming out soon?
Apart from Dark Blue World and Pearl Harbor, I’ve seen or bought recently:
The Dambusters
The Blue Max
Top Gun
633 Squadron
but few others. The good thing is these are usually quite cheap – I picked up The Blue Max for quite a bit less than a tenner! 🙂

Apocalypse Now… either Redux which was the re released longer version or the older copy which has the even better making of it documentary. Come on, some of the maddest most elaborate battle scenes since BoB was made ! Best ‘war’ film ever… and a tad dark

Haven’t seen The Great Waldo Pepper in years!! 🙁
Managed to get up close and personal to the Sopwith Camel used at the end of the movie at the Blue Max Museum at Booker a few years back 🙂
