One of Aviations great characters. In addition to being author of “Aces & Wingmen” he was also very knowledgeable about all aspects of US involvement in WWII.
If that was not enough, for many years he was a volunteer at The Fighter Collection with another great aviation character from Essex, Ernie Taylor.
