Aviation in Nottinghamshire – 2012

Having failed miserably to find the previous thread of a similar name I thought I’d start afresh!

The dedication and formal unveiling of another aviation memorial in Nottinghamshire took place in Hucknall Market Place, Nottinghamshire, on Saturday 30th June 2012.

This new memorial stone was raised in memory of 504 Squadron (County of Nottingham) Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

Hopefully it, along with several others will eventually be included in an updated version of the Newark Air Museum / Notts County Council’s Nottinghamshire Aviation Guide. 🙂
