Just got an official press release via the Dutch Spotters Mailing List. It gives some more details on the aviation display that will be held the 6th of September at the new Aviodrome.
To begin, it should be noted that the new Aviodrome museum is not YET open! An official date has not been released YET but it will be in the autumn of this year.
The air display will have a lot of guests, although it will see limited flying only. Some of the guests include the B-25 Mitchell of the “Duke of Brabant Air Force”, the DC-2 (Aviodrome), DC-3 and DC-4 (DDA), DC-6 (unknown operator), JU-52 (Lufthansa historical flight). The Junkers and the DC-3 will be flying passengers around the airport. Booking in advance only! The DC-2 will also be flying, but not with passengers.
Other visitors include a Piagio Avanti as well as the Fokker Spin/Spider of the Aviodrome.
The event will be held between 10 and 17. Entrance fees are euro 5 for adults and euro 3 for children up to 12 years.
