Here we go again……………………
It would appear that the prototype Avro Commodore, G-ACNT, survived at Woodford, in some form or fashion, for eleven years after being dismantled in 1939. It is recorded as being scrapped as late as 1950. Can anyone say whether this is correct and, if so, shed light on why the components were kept for so long and in what circumstances finally these met their end?
