Just found some old photos I was given as a kid, and I thought they might be of interest to someone. The Harvard came with the same batch of photos, but I’m not sure where or when they were taken; presumably either Kenya or Malaya?

Tis only a guess and probably totally wrong but I seem to recall photos like these in 7 Sqn archives for Operation Firedog in Malaya flying out of Tengah. If I am right then these photos are probably the summer of 1954 with 148 Sqn RAF.
Now I wait to be blown out of the water.:D

Some of your shots appear to include silver RAAF Lincolns. RAF and RAAF examples were both operated out of Tengah, Singapore against terrorists in Malaya. Any chance it could be there?

Some wonderful shots. The terrain does not look much like Kenya, much more likely to be Malaya, in my view.
