Avro Lincoln RF342

G’day all this is my first post, so first of all G’day to all of you! I look forward to dicussing many a topic with you all.

For my first post i’d like to post a question to you all regarding the Avro Lincoln RF342 in England. I have just purchased a local aircraft magazine here in Oz called FLIGHTPATH, inside is a small article regarding the above mentioned aircaft and how a private buyer here in Oz has purchased the aircraft and was due to be all crated up in October. Can anyone in the UK confirm this? does anyone have some current pics of the aircaft in its dissasembled state? I hope the aircraft is donated to the RAAF muesum, as the article states it is to be donated to a local museum.

Cheers for the info guys,

Dave
