Hello
I hope that this is a project that you all like hearing about.
My Great Grandfather was Alliott Verdon-Roe.
Over the last year or so we have been going over the family archive and have also kindly been donated pictures and videos to use on the website.
My objective is to try and build a full collection and representation of the aircraft and projects that Alliott and the companies went on to create.
It has been great fun so far and we have made some brilliant headway with a lot of help from many people around the world, you can see these people sourced next to the images that they have supplied us on the website.

I have not listed a specific range of aircraft yet as i wanted to guage the reaction to this idea on the forum.
Thank you for reading and I hope that worst case senario you enjoy looking at the website.
Best wishes
Martin

Good work so far, but there are some errors.
The Avian prototype G-EBOV shown in 1926 at
http://www.verdon-roe.co.uk/#/avro/19211939/581a594a605a616a625avian/avro581avianprototype/
is not being flown by Harry Hawker – he was dead by then.

Very interesting. Please note that the caption for the Sea Otter is wrong. The Walrus was an earlier and entirely separate design, not just a name change.

There is already a website that charts all the avro aircraft from day one. hope this helps with your amazing endeavour!
