Is anyone aware of any large fuselage, or air frames, been available in the UK or even in Canada.
Its an aircraft that is often overlooked and I just wondered what is actually out there.
I did here there were several ‘hulks’ in Canada but no other details ???? Can any of our Canadian contributors help ?

Meddle, your link is to a Lancaster, I believe its FM221. The author of that website has misidentified it.

To quote the other thread linked above, here is a list of York hull losses:
CF-HMZ. 11 04 55. Associated Airways. Yellowknife.
CF-HMX. 12 04 55. Artic Wings. Hall Lake.
CF-HMY. 26 05 55. Associated Airways. Edmonton.
CF-HMV. 29 09 55. Associated Airways. Yellowknife.
CF-HMU. 24 01 56. Maritime Central. Kuujjuaq.
CF-HFP. 13 09 56. Pacific Western. Cape Perry.
CF-HFQ. 13 09 56. Trans Air. Fox.
This website shows remains of a Lancaster wreck (EDIT!) which Rich identifies below. http://berrimilla.com/wordpress/one-for-my-aircraft-nut-mates/
Might there still be remains of other Yorks out there?

The old (2008) thread on CF-HMX mentions a possible recovery effort.
Does anyone have an update on those plans or the condition of the airframe?
