[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-02-03 AT 00:10 AM (GMT)]LGKR,

Your last paragraph there is nearly a double of a post about AW members under the account GillAirways isnt it?

Yes i did intend on organising. But as you can see from my post about WFNI it takes alot of time as charity events do, especially on this scale.

I am surprised WebMaster isnt intervening yet!

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

I’m with Laz on this to be honest, not for the agist comments though as I’m only 17 myself and I know the likes of Saab is only 14/15 and andrewm only being 15/16 etc.

I do however, through my past experiences with andrew mcquillan believe that he had no intentions of organising and or attending a meeting venue at manchester airport whenever it was scheduled for. Hes that kind of person I’m afraid and I’m sad to see that little or no one off this forum has had the pleasure of being on the receiving end of his bullshit.

Its also very sad that this topic has gone on for as long as it has; Im disappointed to be saying that I have seen sides to people on here which I did not expect to see.

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

July 10th at MAN seems to be the day of choice. Renfrew has suggested we all meet up at a central location at 13.00 with anyone wishing to get there earlier meeting as and when they choose. I intend to be there early-ish and as said will be able to ferry people around within reason.

Anyone else have any ideas we can explore?

As an I Selsport, I think it’s 10th July at Manchester. Would I be right to think this?

Presumably Lazurus is the same eejit that started the ‘BA 777 gone missing’ rumour last year ? You certainly fit the category of web forum b*llshitter. There’s at least one on every forum.

Pick on someone yer own size wide boy !!

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

Real Lazarus.

“i feel sorry for kev35. afterall he seems to be the only person genuinely interested in going. too bad he has to put up with these teens.”

I often feel sorry for him too but that’s beside the point. I am happy to put up with ‘these teens’ for the simple reason that they often know a hell of a lot more than me on certain subjects and I will never be too proud to learn. The reason I am involved is because I have a lot of time on my hands, I think it’s a good idea and I would be very happy to meet other forum members, whatever their ages. There may be a number of teenagers, so what? If I go there’ll be at least one old fart. If it doesn’t worry me why is it worrying you?

Lazarus really whats your problem?? Why are you picking on people? On AFM you said people from AW are a bunch of ‘SISSIES’….. you are not interested in civil aviation so why the hell are you wasting your time and our time….go put a sock on it!

andrewm, that is a pathetic excuse. you are working on some silly website and thats your reason? next time give a good reason like “iam sorry i got a job offer at a fortune 500 company” and i cant go. oops, i forgot you are still in high school. you should not even have suggested this meet if you werent going to do it. btw, arent you the same chap who was going to start a airline with gill airways? thats a good one. hahahahahahahaha. a teen starting an airline? next time dont waste our time.

T5.

“He played a huge part in the organisation and upon realising he could not attend on the proposed date, handed the responsiblity to Kev35.”

Did someone mention my name? I haven’t forgotten and am still working on it. July 10th definitely seems to be the day of choice so I suggest we stick with that. As said, I will drive up and don’t mind ferrying people about within reason. Same goes for anyone needing a lift up. Have left numerous messages at MAN without a sniff of a response re airport tours so will see if anything else is possible.

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-01-03 AT 01:11 PM (GMT)]Real Lazarus, you are the sort of person that makes the forums a dull place to come to. You’ve been here 5 minutes and already you think that you run the show? Urm… I don’t think so!

First you start on someone in the AFM Forum for voicing there opinion on how bad the flame wars are getting on these forums, and you start on him fot it… what right do you have? So anyway, as hes puts you in your place, you decide to have another bash at it, with AndrewM.

If you’d both to have looked back at a few of the past posts on this forum, you would have noticed that AndrewM has been talking about his World Flight plans for a while, so we expect him to be a little tied up with things. Plus also not to mention, he’s 16, its getting near to GCSE and coursework time, which can put alot of stress on us teens. I sure you realise this… or not?

And as for having jobs, like T5 said, us teens do get paid quite well, for our age! I don’t think £500 a month is that bad… its enough to get us to Manchester on a flight aint it!!!!

You do remind me of a certain someone though…. mmm who is it…? Oh yes I know, he was just like you…a complete div, who aint wanted!

I know that you were just voicing your opinion, as I am now, but your opinion that are dispalyed in such a stupid manor, just aint wanted, so until you come up with some worth while, stay quiet!

Thanks! 🙂

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

It’s people like you that aren’t taken seriously.

Teenagers have no money? I’m not inclined to agree with that ridiculous statement. I’m 17, soon to be 18, and earning £400 – £500 per month in a part time job.

Once you’ve posted a few more posts and had a few more ratings, come back and express your pathetic opinions. Andrewm has used this forum a whole lot longer than you and did not ruin the meeting. He played a huge part in the organisation and upon realising he could not attend on the proposed date, handed the responsiblity to Kev35.

RE: AW Meet :: What’s the Latest?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-01-03 AT 09:28 AM (GMT)]Real Lazarus,

I think you are wrong!

I run World Flight Northern Ireland, www.wfni.co.uk, and that is taking all of my time up. That is really why I couldn’t organise but I still may be going to MAN.

(Also wouldn’t the last minute be the day before)
