Ooh, a snazzy new website…

There was a Jurca MJ100 Spit replica for sale a while back (the full-scale one), but I dunno what’s happened to it…

“Last august 19th, at Donaueschingen airfield (Germany), Mr Ulrich Bronner, builder and pilot of this FW-190A replica had a 15 minutes’ maiden flight.”

and no sooner do I ask but I find it on the Jurca website! so, I answered my own question!

Just got the new edition of “Popular Flying” and in the Project News section is a photo of Jurca MJ-10 Spitfire currently under construction by John Rogerson. It is 80% scale (and, apparently, contains an impressive amount of spruce) and will be fitted with a 250 h.p. LOM 6 cyl in-line engine.

Roger Smith.

would anyone happen to have more accurate location information on this stunning replica? perhaps the airport they operate from, etc?
or even contact information on Mr Bronner.
I think it may be near Koln? and I would really enjoy trying to find it one weekend.
It would be great to get a set of detail photos of it.
Thanks,

Is it just an illusion? If a swastika was added would your eye view the rudder differnt?

No, it isnt quite correct. The comment on some parts such as gear and rudder being original is also in error; they are rather different.

Good effort though!
