Does anyone know details of a B-17 that crashed near the M1 between Watford & Bricketwood? I think it was named ‘The Shiftless Skunk’.

Check this German site. It’s second in the list.

It’s correct name was ‘The Shiftless Skonk’ and was a B-17F.
