They are pretty much rebuilding one or two B17s from scratch.
Reading the historical material on the hyperlinked website, it appears that this B-17 dived in. If so, saying that it is being rebuilt ‘from scratch’ must be a masterly understatement!

Its been going for a few years.They are pretty much rebuilding one or two B17s from scratch.Have a feeling the remains of Liberty Bell are there as well being redone.
