B-17s and B-25s over Broadway London(?) July 2005

I was just idly browsing FLICKR today (trying to be back at work ) and encountered a photo (click link) of a four ship formation (2 x B-17s and 2 x B-25s) over Broadway (London I assume). Can anyone tell me/us which aircraft these were and what was the occasion?

And perhaps someone has other photos? Or can post a link to a prior thread here?

The photo is by a guy named Dan Kelly, posted here on FLICKR.

Yep, you’re quite correct too – it was the Swiss B25 NOT Grumpy.

That’ll teach me to rush in……..

i think the b25s were ‘russels raiders’ (Swiss based) and like you said ‘Sarinahm’ of the Duke of brabant air force.

Dave (and others) the Sally B website says July 10, are you sure about the 17th – perhaps a week out?

10th July 2005 (not 17th! ). Commemorative flypast for the end of the war. B17s Sally B & Pink Lady, ex-TFC B25 Grumpy, Dutch Duke of Brabant B25.

Also in the flypast, launched from Duxford during Flying Legends, were Rapides, DC3s, Catalina, BBMF and probably some others I’ve forgotten about.
