Hi chaps,
Found this odd piece a while back… I know it’s from a Liberator from the ‘GK’ at the beginning of the part number, but what it actually is I have no idea! It’s heavy and makes a great door stay!
Any help would be very much appriciated.

Yes I know what that is, its a jacking casting that bolts on the side of the nose, under the cockpit side windows, so you can jack up the aircraft.
One each side of the nose, we used them when restoring Dugan in the AAM.
